The Children
of Jamaica Outreach (COJO) charity, with help from JetBlue airlines,
is holding a special raffle to aid young Haitian quake survivors.
And Derrick James, Grenada's consul general in New York, is continuing
relief efforts by partnering with local Haitian organizations.
"Any opportunity
to help children in need is a worthwhile investment and we thought
it prudent to reach out to our Caribbean neighbors in this most difficult
period to lend a hand," said COJO founder Gary Williams, referring
to the raffle.
All raffle prizes
include travel on JetBlue and accommodations in Jamaica. The grand
prize is a 7-day/6-night all-inclusive stay for two at any SuperClubs
Resort. Second place gets a 5-day/4-night stay, and third place wins
a 4-day/3-night stay for two at any Sandals Resort.
The raffle will
culminate during the week of May 17. For information on the raffle,
